Questions & Answers
How does the free plan work?
You can use Sendcloud for free, forever. On the Free plan, you’ll only be billed for each shipping label you generate.
If you’re using the “Unstamped letter” shipping method, there is a limit of 50 labels, after which you will be charged.
Note that on the Free plan, you can only ship using Sendcloud’s rates. To use your own carrier contract, sign up for one of the paid plans.
The Free plan comes with a limited set of features and is tailored to the needs of stores making their first steps in the e-commerce world.
Is there a setup fee?
There is no setup fee for Lite, Growth, Premium, and Pro plans.
Additional fees may apply in case of complex integrations, custom requests, or managed onboarding. Please check our Enterprise offering and get in touch with one of our shipping experts to receive a custom proposal based on your desired setup.
Can I cancel my paid subscription at any time?
After the trial period, your plan will automatically be renewed if you do not deactivate it—but don’t worry, you will get timely reminders about this.
While we would hate to see you leave, you can always cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle. To cancel your subscription, go to Account > Subscription > Deactivate your plan. If you wish to delete your account instead, go to Account > Profile, scroll down, and click Delete account.
Your paid subscription will still be active until the next renewal date, so you will be able to make the most of the features that are included in your current plan. Learn more about how our subscription invoicing works.
Do I need a carrier contract to use Sendcloud?
You have the flexibility to either use your own carrier contract or Sendcloud’s shipping rates.
We offer pre-negotiated shipping rates with various carriers, allowing you to ship without needing your own carrier contract.
However, if you already have a carrier contract and are subscribed to one of our paid plans, you have the option to upload your existing contract to the Sendcloud platform.
Where can I find Sendcloud's shipping rates?
For a full overview of Sendcloud’s shipping rates, please create a free account.
Once in your Sendcloud account, go to Shipping > Shipping prices to view the available shipping or return methods per carrier and the corresponding prices.
You will be able to select the direction of your shipments (return or outbound), enter the dimensions and weight of your parcels, and choose the countries you are interested in. Easily sort and filter the results to choose the best shipping method based on price, transit time, popularity, customer rating, and more.
It is also possible to retrieve our shipping rates with the API.
What is the price per label?
Price per label is a label processing fee that’s being charged on top of your subscription price. Keep in mind that these are not the shipping costs but the price for the creation of shipping labels with Sendcloud.
The label processing fee depends on your subscription plan: Lite (+ £0.09 per label), Growth (+ £0.08 per label), Premium (+ £0.07 per label), and Pro (+ £0.06 per label).
After exceeding the monthly limit for your plan — Lite (400 labels), Growth (1000 labels), Premium (10 000 labels), and Pro (30 000 labels) — you will pay an additional £0.15 per label on top of the original fee.
For example, if you exceed the 400-label limit on the Lite plan, you will be charged £0.25 for each extra label.
From which countries can I ship with Sendcloud?
Sendcloud fully supports shipping from 8 European nations: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
If you have an invoice address in any of the countries above (except for the UK) and a direct contract with a supported carrier, you can also ship from Czechia, Denmark, Poland, Portugal, and Sweden.
From any of these countries, you can ship to destinations worldwide.
Which shop systems and marketplaces are supported by Sendcloud?
Sendcloud seamlessly integrates with over 100 shop systems, marketplaces, WMS, and ERPs, including popular platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, and eBay. Browse our App Store to see all of them.
Don’t worry if your system isn’t natively supported; you still have options. Sendcloud offers the flexibility to manually create shipments, upload orders via CSV files, or integrate your system through our API.
Can 3PLs and fulfilment providers use Sendcloud?

All our customers have access to email and live chat support.
Starting from the Growth plan, we offer phone support for more immediate assistance.
Starting from the Pro plan, you will be assigned a dedicated Customer Success Manager (sometimes also possible on lower plans, on-demand), who will assist you with onboarding, training, and performance review while offering strategic guidance and shipping expertise.
Enterprise customers can expect more guided onboarding with technical support throughout the implementation and extended support hours and service levels.
